About the Creator
Barbara Sala

I am an essentially self taught artist and I paint in a naïve, folk art style filling my canvas with people and animals together with magical and mystical symbols. I am a storyteller on canvas, although I have also published two children's books "Celestine and the Magical Geranium" and "Village of the Heart". My whimsical and colorful paintings evoke a time of innocence and childlike wonder. Children love my paintings, especially my animals. I am offering a multilayered experience to the onlooker, mirroring life from early childhood to old age. I am painting for everybody.
