About the Book
You are going to have to use your imagination. I’ve gathered just a few images that speak of home – but there are so many more that I can see with my mind’s eye...things arranged on the living room mantel, names and dates scribbled on the pantry door, the squares of that old TV room rug, the big mirror, hours spent playing in the attic and rummaging around in those big drawers, splintery wood floors, high door knobs, wet mittens on the radiator, the table set for a nice dinner. Objects, smells, colours, little details, the ordinary stuff of family life at 11 College Street, St. Catharines, Ontario.
This book will really not do any of it justice – it is simply a memento for you to remember that vision of the family home that dwells in your own heart.
