About the Book
This is a photographic compilation of a summer adventure to West Greenland. The plan was to cross the glaciers of Disko Island on foot on an old and abandoned dog sledge winter route. But climate change changed the glaciers and a rather snow-heavy winter crossed our plans, forcing us to change plans. What we found instead on a route-less alternative trek was a vast wilderness of mountains and glaciers, alpine lakes, high country, knee deep swamps and friendship in the ghost town of Qudlissat, once the third-largest city in Greeland and know forgotten, but kept alive by a view enthusiasts.
